HOW TO GET TO YOUR APARTMENT

Take a look at the map and discover how easily and conveniently
you can reach our little gem, Dürnstein,
in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage region of the Wachau.

BY CAR

Exit at Melk if you are coming from the west (Salzburg, Linz).
Cross the Danube (bridge).
Enjoy a beautiful drive along the Danube through villages such as Spitz and Weissenkirchen.
Before the tunnel in Dürnstein, turn left and drive uphill.

If you are coming from Vienna, take either the A1 or the A22 towards Krems.
After Krems, continue another 6 km upstream along the Danube to Dürnstein.
After the tunnel, turn right and drive uphill.

Rothenhof is a small, separate district located between Unterloiben and Förthof/Krems.

BY BUS & TRAIN

In summer, the charming Wachau Railway operates along the left bank of the Danube between Krems and Emmersdorf.

Alternatively, there are excellent train connections taking just one hour from Vienna or St. Pölten to Krems.
From there, you can continue by public bus or taxi (6 km to our location).

Vienna International Airport is only a one-hour drive from us.
You can rent a car or use one of the many limousine services available.
Traveling by public transport is also very convenient..
